Visual Voicemail Working on Verizon Touch Pro

my tp fell in the pool but i was able to dry it out and get it back going. i put the MR1 upgrade rom off verizon website and locked the phone back.

before i locked the phone i remember trying to use visual voicemail and it gave me an error and told me to contact customer service. i got the same message using the SSK 2.3 6.5

anyways i dont know if verizon just provisioned the phones or locking the phone caused it to work, but i just wanted to post the i have tested it and it works great. not sure if its worth the 2.99 a month, but ill give it a try for a while.

posting on PPC geeks forum as well. hope thats not a problem.

VVM ran perfect on mine with the Verizon upgrade, and still works on Scotts, I just get an error every time I delete a message, and VVM closes. It will restart automatically with next vvm though.

just got my insurance replacement "brand new" touch pro.

loaded SSK 2.4 - 6.5 custom, and it works great.

visual voicemail loaded right up without a problem.

the reason i started this post was because i had tried to get the VVM to work for months and it just gave me an error saying to call customer service. i tried to call and get it setup and they told me my phone would not work with VVM.
so anyways it finally started working and i figured the just provisioned it and wanted people to know.

was VVM already working and it just wouldnt on my phone, or is VVM just really not that big of a deal? bc i have been using it the past few days and i am really starting to like it.
